THE DREAM OF GREAT LEADERSHIP: WAKING UP TO THE CHALLENGE

There are numerous schools of thought on the concept of leadership, but in an age when great leaders and exceptional leadership are more necessary than ever, there has been surprisingly little direct international recognition of true leadership in action. Neither has there been a targeted international award for leadership nor a platform for recognising great leaders. That is, until now. The Hillary Institute is accepting this challenge.

You can help us recognise, reward and nurture great leaders who will provide the answers to such challenges as poverty, disease, peace and justice. They will also challenge each of us to find the leader within ourselves. Great achievements are often the result of the singular vision, dynamism, drive and focus of extraordinary individuals, who through their sense of purpose, determination and charismatic approach, inspire those around them and effect remarkable, positive social and environmental improvement.
